i believe he is talking about the black/chrome moulding down the side of the truck. wheel well molding have screws on the inside IIRC, have the factory flares on mine or i'd go look.

i used a drummel tool and the little buffing pads. And a lil bit of gas and paint thinner. yes i know stupid but works fast. did hole 2 dr in 45 mins!

My Tahoe looks just like yours 96 ProCompTahoe except its black with dark grey molding. btw your Tahoe is sweet

I just pulled the moldings off mine this past weekend. I used the 3m wheel and some goo gone to get the residue off. It took about an hour but I was in and out of the house helping my kids with stuff. It sure makes the truck look alot cleaner.

That looks sharp with the molding off man. I think Im just going to leave mine on until Im ready to repaint my truck. Its used to not like the molding around the wheel wells a lot more with the stock tires but it looks a lot better with my new tires and rims
