So I got a little money to burn.

Performance wise I am happy. I also got a set of Z71 Wheels from a member here so wheels and tires are spoken for.

I'm leaning towards a diesel front bumper with lights. Front Bumper from LMC
(#3) http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/csd/full.aspx?Page=19

Thoughts, Ideas suggestions for other items are welcomed!

Thanks,
MWNT

Im getting alittle more income coming in to my wallet! haha and im thinking about stuff to. i wanted to get a lift, wheels, tires, and gears. but plans have changed due t oolder motor and transmission that my dad doesnt think will hold up to bigger tires all that junk. so im going another way. im thinking about the mfi upgrade for the injector system. and a new carpet kit. mines orange in places and blue in others. just do what you want to do with your money bro. its whatever your happy with. personally i like my color matched front bumper and my brush guard. let us know what you end up doing. good luck

I have $600 to play with. I really like the smoothie bumpers so again that's a direction I am leaning towards. I have de-badged already, but the Billet Grill is a nice thought. Or at least inserts to the current grill. Some other items that are happening with this money are a trans temp gauge (already bought) custom center console over the hump (material costs only).

I also have some minor boat work to do as well, but who's thinking about Wakeboarding when the weather is 14degrees out! And the boat has it's own separate budget too.

When it warms up paint the frame semi-gloss black along with the wheel wells, it makes it look real clean.

What about brake upgrades? better pads and rotors, SS lines.

SS Lines added to list. Gonna wait until the current pads/rotors are a little more worn out before replacing those.

Tossing around some front end work too. Tie rod ends and pitman arm etc. I'm gonna be seeing my local mechanic in the next week for fluid changes, perhaps he has some insight on where I have to spend money for safety sake.

Mechanic gave good news, front end is solid (surprisingly) only needed to address an issue with the steering box being loose. Steering is much better now. We did find a leak on the front driver-side axle that needed to be fixed. The Axle seal was leaking like a sieve. Helped finalized the last leak in the truck.

So back to what to buy. Bumper and brake lines are ordered.

Would I really benefit in upgrading the front sway bar and also adding a rear sway bar? Or would upgrading to poly bushing for the front be enough? I do 60/40 mix of city/highway driving if that helps.

poly bushings could help. All the guys I know hate the noise, they get squeaky. Everyone comes back to that and says just lube them....guess what? They still squeak after a little bit but the performance is just not worth it to me...it's a truck not a race car.

a good detailing is always an option...in a few months. Come april or late march if we are lucky. I get to cleaning the winter off the trucks and shine them back up.

keep a watch on craigslist or the for sale sections for wheels maybe?
