That's amazing. Congrats
Enjoy. I will be doing my swap during the cold season. January and February. I will stay in the heated garage and tinker. Please let me know how you make out. Don't forget to check the tranny in the sub

If the suburban has a 6.0 in it I would assume its a 3/4 ton? If that's the case it should have a 4l80e in it. That'll be a big help when it comes to making big power while keeping a tranny alive. I'm not sure how much this will effect your conversion. Things like crossmembers and wiring harnesses come into play but being you have an entire parts truck it might be direct bolt ons. I don't know if the 3/4 burbs have different frames than the 1/2 models but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they were different. There is a company selling 4l80e bolt on swap kits so its nothing a little cash cant fix.

A couple things. Great score for the $$

Now your 4l60 cross member is different than the 4l80 cross member. Hopefully the X member from the burban is still good and you can swap. If not here is a site that specializes in parts needed for a 80swap. If you are 4wd you will need to change the tcase input shaft as the splines on the 80 are different from the 60. This is not terrible. (Assuming that the Burban is 2wd.

I would also highly recommend tuning with Black Bear Performance. Brandon and Jenna are great and active members on here. @JennaBear

Do not be afraid to ask questions.
