maybe It just didnt kick on when I tried it (before I installed the tails)...I'll put the old lights back in today to see if it works...
if it is the tails, what size resistors..and where do they splice into? which wire(s)?

by the way...I did hook up the wires wrong the first time....which fuses would I check to see if they are blown?

ok, I just went out there, disconnected the LEDs and put the bulbs back in (didnt bother installing the light assy......just drove with no tails...only bulbs lol....
cruise still didnt work... and I just checked almost every single fuse in the truck....NONE were blown...
wtf =( its not the LEDs....its not a fuse...what can it be??

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!! So Im at Dominoes Pizza getting a 1/2 Honolulu Hawaiian, 1/2 Cali Bacon Chicken Ranch..(2) 2 liters of Orange Fanta, and an order of Cheesy bread...they say it'll be 10 mins...ok kool..so I get back in my truck, drive across the street to Starbucks, and get a Venti Zen Tea-Lemonade (DELICIOUS)...I then get in my truck, and hit the gas as I leave...it kicks down into first and hauls ass..I didnt notice what had happened...but I realized I was going pretty fast, pretty quick...I was like.."wtf...I know it didnt just start working..." so I get to the light, make a left and get to about 30...then I hit the gas..it drops down into first without any issues...then I play with it a few more times...
heres a few things that could have fixed this issue...
1) It stormed lastnight and flooded half the down..yea, a ****** 4th of july....
maybe I washed some connections going through all the puddles?
2) I changed my tail lights back to stock to see again if it would fix my cruise control issue....it didnt...I figured, it was gonna be in the shop 2moro and I didnt want them to get scratched either lol...so I left stockers on
3) I went to Starbucks....maybe when my truck breaks, all I have to do is go to Starbucks and it heals and regenerates itself in the parking-lot while Im waiting for my Zen Tea?
Im going with answer #1 or #3 cuz this all started waaaay before I got the new Tails...

Seriously though it does really still sound like you have an electrical short somewhere that is affecting what the tranny thinks is going on with the engine, throttle position. I won't pretend to know the answer but I've been reading a ton on tranny's lately and this would be the first thing I would check on my truck if that was happening to me. Check all the fuses labeled with "ECM" on your box in the engine compartment.

i either like an Venti Iced black tea sweatened. Or a Tall Mocha frapachino. I dont like their coffee but their other drinks are awesome.

Back to the tranny, did you check those fuses? I'm very curious - there's 3 if I remember correctly

everything is good...all fuses are good..nothing blown in the cab or engine bay =/
