08 Yukon oil pressure sensor... I’m sure you guys know the frickin deal here...

I got the wire undone and special socket on there...but I have tried a universal joint, flexible ratchet, extension, etc.. I don’t see how to do this without the manifold coming off...

You shouldn’t need anything other than an extension, maybe a wobble one, and to lay across the top of the engine. Make sure to check for a screen at the bottom of the hole after you get the sensor out. They can get clogged if it has one.

Ditto on the wobble extension; that's what I used on mine.

Where you getting a code (engine light) also?

When mine went bad I also had the check engine light come on with a code stating oil pressure sensor voltage out of range. I had to clear the code and restart the engine before it started showing correct pressure

I'm pretty sure mine started reading correctly after replacing the failed sensor, but the code was still present until I cleared it with via the Torque app.

I didn’t try to reset and restart. From everything I saw the gauge should get going again.

But I took it back out to check the filter. Looks clean but I ripped it.8485AEF6-435A-4ED6-BDDE-CBD80C85C72D.jpeg

You should try a manual pressure gauge to verify the actual pressure.
