Our 07 GMC Denali has 69000 miles and the dealer says we need two new motor mounts for 900$ is it necessary to get these? Is 900$ actually a fair price?

Lol I would if I had the necessary tools. I wish someone on here lived in AZ and I could have them fix it

Craigslist for a local mechanic.

Or ask friends to ask friends.

Or go buy a tool set. Your male, you're required to have tools!

Passenger side. Don't let this cry baby scare ya. A lot of mechanics whine about anything.

That took all of 10 seconds to find.
Will look for driver side later. But it will be very similar to swap as passenger side.

You don't need a hoist like he used. A floor Jack and a 2x4 6" long between Jack and oil pan will work just fine.

99 and up Silverado, Sierra, Yukon, Tahoe all are the same. So any videos you find will show you how to swap

well yeah thats not the same truck unless your saying a 2003 is the same as a 2009. I'm sure they are similar in a sense but I've owned both style trucks and there are differences. But your saying the procedure is very similar? I read on a esky site that you have to remove the steering shaft to do the drivers side? I've also read not to jack on the oil pan as it can crush the oil pick up?

The mount swap procedure is the same.
Ok, so remove the steering shaft..
Ever seen engines sitting on the ground? Did it crush oil pan?
That is what the 2x4 is used for, spread the weight.

Don't over complicate the swap.
