Just got my ride nice and buttery with the OEM magneride replacements when I started noticing a slight clunk at takeoff from a stop. Popped the hood and did the the test looking for the tell tale twist. Sure enough, it was quite noticeable. After watching about 4 youtube vids on this, I am ready to tackle this job - with my wallet! I had enough manly fun doing the 4 shocks, but this looks like a huge PITA for a driveway job without a lift. My question is - is it advised to do both or just the driver? Also, I assume OEM are best for smoothest ride?

Are you saying you have a bad motor mount on your '18 Yukon Denali? If so, I don't think there's been much experience or mention of failing motor mounts on the K2XX platform? I thought that was just a common GMT900 issue.

How many miles on your '18 Yukon Denali?

You can totally do it without a lift. I did. It was indeed a PITA, but I saved THOUSANDS of dollars by doing it myself. I did the driver's side only.

Are you saying you have a bad motor mount on your '18 Yukon Denali? If so, I don't think there's been much experience or mention of failing motor mounts on the K2XX platform? I thought that was just a common GMT900 issue.

I usually would, but lately all the easy stuff has turned into challenges - while this one starts out looking like a **** show. I can see hours of pure hell laying on my back with shake arm and violent verbal outbursts. Does this job really cost that much?

Well, I reached out to the dealer, and looks like $850 total for OEM with 2 year warranty. Not too shabby to have it done correctly. Wonder if I should get them to do something else while their at it...

"While they are at it..." does not compute for dealers.
I garronntee if you had a repair that included pulling the engine and asked to have the motor mounts replaced "while they are at it" the book time for each job would apply.

$850 for both? With new mount heatshield intact? Where are you located?
