I need to mount a 7 pin trailer wiring harness on my '99 hoe with the factory trailer package. The stock hitch does not have any sort of mounting plate for the harness. Just wondering if anyone has come up with a good looking spot to mount the plate for the harness? Any ideas would be appreciated.

The tech mounted mine at a 45 degree angle to the hitch, on the left side. I thought about buying a mount that connects to the hitch, but they he did it works well. I can post a pic if you want.

Yeah I am talking about the actual plug for where you would plug the trailer into. I have had a flat 4 blade on there but its just hanging around the hitch. I wanted something more permanent.

I drilled a hole in the bumper just enough to clear the license plate light. Looks good and doesent drag anymore when off road. Also, functions really well.
