I been running MSD for years "NO PROBLEMS HERE" good choice. Just wondered why the 6AL and not the 6A since the ECU will have control over the rev limit?

I think it is a back up in case of an odd tuned chip.

To late to change to the dizzy, but I got my box off ebay new for $180. Maybe next month.

Good price on the box! Yeah I ran the 6al in a carb setup, but since my truck runs a ECU with custom chip "limiter set" I opted for the 6a same box w/o rev chips, saved a few bucks. At least now you will have a hot ignition for 8500rpm shifts LOL. So what's up with you rear diff, time to blow sound?

That is exactly why you should get the 6al. It has been used on my truck a few times because something is goofed in my 411 pcm programming when wot in first gear to second.

I have a similar setup, what did you guys do for the wire between the coil and cap? I have been looking everywhere for one and even asked summit what they recommend and they had nothing.
