Well after riding around for awhile with my new 18" magnaflow, I have decided that it is too loud. The tone is great but the overall noise is too much. I thought an easy solution might be to put a glasspack in front of the muffler. Does anybody have experience with this? Would a 12" or 18" glasspack work ok? This is on my 2003 yukon.

Magnaflows are more quiet than most. I wouldn't go with a glasspack but that's me. I have heard that the SUV 50 series flowmaster is fairly quiet.

It is quiet, but it is not the big case muffler they have that is really quiet. To clarify, i am looking to leave on the magnaflow and put a glasspack in front of it.

Just an idea that popped into my head but what would a second magnaflow do? That might help as well. With that said, I have heard of people putting a glass pack after the magnaflow with success in quieting it down but that was on cars and I have not heard it in person. Just what I've seen posted on other forums for similar issues.
