Musty Smell (not from vents)

Lift your mats. I had that problem and found my carpet padding was wet on the front passenger side, and also in the back by the a/c unit. I cant tell you how many times I tore everything apart. I used some clear silicone on the gasket around the door, fixed that problem, used silicone on the wireways that go through the body behind the rear a/c. No more smell

Checked all carpets after the last rain and everything was bone dry.

Any idea where I can get more info on this cleaning procedure used by dealers??
