So. You may notice I'm not around much right now. That is due to business keeping me travelling A LOT!
But I wanted to update you all about the 2000 I found in the classifieds here.
Everyone that sees it can't believe the shape it is in for a 20 year old Caddy!
I talked with grouch when I bought it and knew it had a few issues. Those were minor and have fixed things.
Around $1000 to do all the brakes, fix the exhaust leak, new plugs and wires, a bad upper control arm.
Minor stuff.
Fuel pump went out and that set me back another $500. BUT!
I'm still VERY happy with this one!

Since I bought it for the Wife, then sold the Tahoe? I was allowed to buy my Dream Car to build!
It's a 1973 Opel GT. But that's for another forum.

I'll do that ASAP. Right now I'm getting it set to go get undercoated.
It came from a salt free area and Ohio is the King of dumping salt!
I did replace the tail lights that were on it. Went back to stock from the Hurst looking ones that were on it!
Also had USB ports installed so Wife can charge her stuff.
Happy Wife! Happy Life!

What do you mean classifieds? Is that still really a thing? Dang, I need to get a paper once in a while I guess. I haven’t seen Thrifty Nickel lately lol

Months later the Caddy is in the shop again. Front steering stabilizer needed replaced.
Nothing surprising for a 21 year old car.
Of course this happened when the Winter Storm dumped several inches of snow!
On a side note I did pick up the HP Tuner stuff that will work with the Caddy.
Main reason I bought it was for my Opel GT project that is getting a 3.4 V6 from a 2003 Grand Am GT that I bought.
That will take the HP from a stock 90 HP inline 4 and nearly double it to 175 HP V6.

Great to see you on again Jeff. Post up some pics. Wish I could've bought that Caddy. What seats does your donor Grand Am have?
