my 2000 is running lean

as i was driving to day my service light came on so i went home and pluged it in to see what the code was the code was bank one lean so i figered maby if i erase it it will stay away.. nope prob about 5 miles later it comes back but now its two codes bank 1 lean , and bank 2 lean .. any one every have this typ of problem what can i start checking out. it is running a little rough but not that bad once in a while it will surg a little that it

My was too and I replaced the fuel filter and the code never came back.

uh oh i dont know why buti seem to remember something about upstream oxygen sensors with lean bank codes but i may be 110% wrong!!

I think 02 sensors as well.

if 02 sensors were bad they would be setting codes. I work on these everyday. I have only replaced 1 o2 sensor ever in my 10 years. if it is setting both bank 1 and 2 lean codes it is intake gaskets. they are actually easy to do. i can do them in 10 minutes without removing the intake manifold from the truck.
