Daym this sucks. Sorry to see this. The best protection is full coverage insurance. There are tons of better option other than the crappy onstar that can be disabled in a matter of minutes. I have compustar drone in my car. If mine get stolen, i can live track it from a laptop or my phone. I can lead the police to my truck cause it has Gps tracking. I had other options installed to like wheel tilt sensor and lateral movement sensor. If any of the sensor pick up movement weather someone tryin to steal rims or push it with another car, the alarm will sound and alert me directly on my phone.

I hope you get it back in one piece but if not i hope you get the full amount from insurance.

thats the thing i do have full coverage insurance... I have reciepts and pictures but they are saying anytime you do a upgrage you need it report it to them No one has experience with these insurance companies?? feel like im getting robbed twice first the took my truck and my insurance company is taking my money !!!!

This is Geico by the way so if it turns out they are no covering im dropping them

Tony, there may not be much of anything you can do about the 26s.
Insurance requires modifications to be reported to them so they can cover it in the event of theft/damage. My insurance has a full list of my mods along with pictures for that reason.
I have heard that some people are able to file that type of scenario under homeowners insurance to get it covered though.

I also make sure I give a copy of the receipts to my insurance company just in case. I also try to keep a portfolio of the receipts for myself.
