In the past 14 months of the waiting process I told the dealership a half dozen times or more, "No front license plate install!". They still didn't listen to me. The good news it that it simply unbolts from the car and the original cover snaps back in. There's no modification to the car required. My salesman took it off and installed the original panel before I left the dealership.

Have you seen the problems with the hood/trunk opening? It’s on the corvette forum. GM says it’s mostly user error but those that had it open and cover the windshield says otherwise. I guess the stopped the reverse opening hood for easier access.

There was a NHTSA safety recall for this problem. I few things changed in the frunk's opening procedure. The software change was sent OTA (over the air) 8/25 to all manufactured vehicles.
