I wanted to follow up for anyone who has the “service suspension system” issue in the future and the dealer can’t find any stored codes. I bought a SC 530 scan tool off amazon. Plugged it in the obd port, navigated to the electronic suspension control module and observed the wheel accelerometers. I found that the right front wheel accelerometer voltage would fluctuate driving around and even parked when I rotated the steering wheel left and right. When the right front wheel accelerometer voltage intermittently dropped to zero volts it would trigger the “service suspension system” message momentarily until the voltage increased from 0 volts.

I ordered a new right front wheel accelerometer and installed it. I have had stable voltage readings, no intermittent drops to 0 volts and no more “service suspension system” messages. IMG_8941.jpeg

After weekend camping out in the Oregon High Dessert and 20F lows, my 2021 Yukon Denali with 59K miles showed the "Service Suspension System" on the console. I pointed the shop to this thread and it seems to be right on as far as the repair needed as they said it looked like a 'stick' or 'something' damaged the wiring at or near the acceleration sensor on one of the wheels.

This is possible as I drove a bit on rutted dessert road paths (not quite 'a road') amid low level sage brush / rough terrain. Plus the message appeared on start-up after 2 days of sitting thru 20F low nights rather than during a specific driving event as described here. Also, when I got home and opened the hood a jack rabbit near the battery was staring at me - do rabbits chew wires?

On the down side - don't like to think of my 2021 Yukon with 8" clearance and 4wd as a 'fragile' vehicle and hope this was just bad luck!

On the up side - Love this forum to help point focus in the right direction. Thanks to all the posters and the forum managers!
