What was the total cost for the swap of you don't mind me asking?

I really don't want to think about it but I will take a swing at this off the top of my head:

$2300 trans
$800 Circle D 3000-3200 Torque Converter with Billet,
$100+ for the wire harness,
$100+ for the flexplate
$100+ for the front drive shaft
$100 to have rear drive shaft shortened
$50 trans cooler lines
Crossmember - Free (but I already owned a welder)
I already had HP Tuners to do the swap, but this needs to be considered in your budget to either buy it, or have someone do the segment swap for you.
$100+ ??? NSS, Transfercase adapter, bolts, gaskets, dipstick tube
And don't forget how expensive all that ATF is.

Now my head hurts. But the peace of mind that I can now put a turbo on and not worry about it ........ is worth it to me.

Sorry for the delay. Absolutely love it. Soooo nice not to have to worry every time when I get into the gas. Still absolutely recommend it.

What's wrong with it? Just a dead 4L60e?

I have actually been wanting to do engine and Trans swap on my 2004 Tahoe LT some have recommended i opt for the 6.0 V8 rather than sticking with the 5.3 V8 what benefits could be gained from this and what are the cons if I do? Also is the 4l80 a better trans for my Tahoe or should I stick with the 4L60?
