The Hoe is running like shit right now, misfires on multiple cylinders and keeps stalling at red lights, keeps throwing bank 1/2 system too lean codes. I've replaced every possible part that would cause these problems and have narrowed it down to being a bad intake manifold

I just ordered an ac delco intake manifold along with 2 ac delco knock sensors since I'm going to be in there I figured why not replace them... am I missing anything or are my suspicions correct that satan himself has possessed this damn truck lol!!!

Nope, it's Satan! But, make sure once you do the knock sensors, you do the mod with the rtv. Knock sensors usually get filled with coolant, which kills them, doing the rtv deal stops that from happening. Hopefully your knock sensor harness is good. They sell those separately fyi.

I know i read your build yest but i forget if you changed gas filter? Fuel pump maybe going but it really sounds more like a vacuum leak. You got a new maf when you swapped cai out right( im pretty sure i read you did that and that you got a new one) i know the late 90's to early 2000's intake manifolds used to go bad so sounds like your going in the right direction, sorry man.

I was unaware that the knock sensors came without a harness, thanks for the heads up brother...whats the rtv mod?

Yea the fuel filter, fuel pump, maf sensor all have been replaced... I changed just about everything that could possibly throw a code, thats how I narrowed it down to the intake manifold. I'm no mechanic by any means but I will not hesitate to tear the engine apart to find a remedy rather than pay someone to fix it(not cheap, just stubborn) If all else fails, I will tear the damn engine out and replace it lol

Lmao, that's exactly me....rtv thing is either making a dam with it around the sensors or filling them in with the hi temp crap so the dont fill with water and crap out again...something like that.

:waytogo:Something like making a dam, but I never did it myself. Hopefully someone who knows the exact method will chime in. Sensors don't come with the harness, but sometimes, not always, they need or should be replaced. My guy reused mmine, so I guess it was still ok.

The way I've seen it was a bead of the stuff around the hole, shaped like a horseshoe, open towards the cab. And on the rear one, lay an extra bead at an angle out of the back of the compartment.
