That is actually funny! I am not a name brand person by any means. I am all about the quality and value. The tools that I have purchased in the past from HF were cheap and crap but I knew it at the time. I only bought those items because I was not going to need some of the stuff for more than one or two easy jobs. The past couple of years HF has actually been putting out equipment that is high quality compared to what they normally sell. These specific items hold there own against the identical tool from a name brand that costs WAY more. I am buying the Vulcan omni pro 220 welder from them. Look at all of the comparison videos of them going up against miller and lincoln's!

I bought my snap on breaker bar at home depot over 10 years ago...I've never been to a harbor freight or do I know where it even is lol

I just bought another breaker bar, hopefully I don't snap this one as well

I bought a Tekton breaker bar from Amazon and some of their other tools. We've used them to break torque on the wheels, hub bolts, caliper bracket bolts without a problem. Still have my trusty old American made Craftsman too but wanted a longer one for more leverage. I figured the Tekton's ratchet mechanism would break taking the bolts off but the tool wasn't phased by the abuse we threw at it over the past month.

When it came time to replace my little 1/4" drive ratchet, the Tekton was a better deal and all metal unlike the new Craftsman.

I agree, a lot of the new HF tools are very nicely finished, nicer than modern Craftsman in some cases. We use a lot of their stuff for wood working and the seventeen foot ladder is great.
