Was your insurance paying for it? If it was the other guy's they should give you a vehicle in the same class as the one you own. If your insurance is paying then you're SOL because you set the rental cost they will cover.

That's a downgrade for sure.
I have had Avenger, Caliber, and a Liberty in the pass as rentals so I feel your pain. Worst part is rentals always have the clearest windows, so I get self conscious and afraid someone I know will see me.

LOL. Me too. I feel like I'm in a fish bowl for all to see.

And no, it was the other guy's insurance. I argued and argued and they refused to upgrade.

yeah unfortunatly I said same thing that is a downgrade. I tried to get the Caddy but they had a guy coming in with a Porsche to get fixed that he was taking that one. So it was either this a mini van (which I will never in my life get caught driving one of them) or a avenger. I kinda wish I went with the avenger now.

You think that's bad... this was evidently the only car they had left last time I had a loaner.

When I got stuck with the Avenger I tore the crap out of that thing. I started driving it by manually shifting through gears on the Automatic just so that I could get up to speed a little faster. That little hamster was huffin' and puffin' by the time I was done

That little hamster was on three wheels coming up my driveway (wasn't expecting quite that much)... And i certainly didn't use the hand brake at all.......

That's weird. I've never taken a truck the body shop and got less than a truck for the rental.
