Tom, here in Bama, a Tahoe PPV on state bid is not 70K! In fact, we can buy 2 at that price. Ours are the 2wd PPV models.

Civilian's are NOT allowed to order/buy ANY new police package vehicles direct from GM/Dealer. It has to be marked as a "used" vehicle. There was some "shenanigan's" years ago with some GM dealers out east selling new PPV Caprices to the public and GM was NOT happy about that !!

We are going all Federal except a couple of cannons in the tail lights. Even getting the Federal bumper with 4 lights and wraps and pit bars.

Up in Canada we got our 5 new PPV 4Wd in May. Ordered in Oct 2020.. built in Feb 2021. We wanted ice silver metallic. Was not avail on Oct. But is now. Waiting equipment .. installs in Sept. $900 dollar LED spot light.. haha

Sweet. Yeah, we wanted silver, but you got to order 5 to get that color or wait until they get 5 orders for it so they can send yours to the paint booth too. We wound up going satin steel. Looks like these models lost the LED strip that ran along under the headlights of the previous generation.
