my front axle or front end for my 4wd quick question

So my front end in my truck, the gears and stuff and where my front axles goes into, looks like a rearend but in the front well anyways my gears broke and my buddy has a 96yukon gt and wrecked it. Well i was wondering if it was a straight thru swap. taking his front end axle setup and putting it into my truck since mine are broke. thanks

It should but some wiring may need to be changed. Double check the gear ratio as well.
