I know you're having the surveyor out before you take any action with the neighbors, and that's wise. Don't count on the aerial photos and the lot lines being accurate in these online represenation. Most of the (official) online sites like this have disclaimers about accuracy. It will be interesting to see what the "survey says!"

this one is the current one from the surveyor , and looks to match pretty darn close. the permanent stakes could be put in already, but they are waiting for us to make the call on the side lot so we can get that lot separated legally, then they will put the markers in. but we will be waiting till then to get them off, and will be headed to the county clerk for a trespass complaint before we even make notice to them. and there will be law enforcement involved when that notification is made, just because i have a good idea how it will go down. and i will have cameras installed before then also. as well as probably request the body cam from the officer just for my records for further use just in case.

there gonna be some feud happing, but sure isnt family! lol.

i wont go into all the details yet, but we have kept the piece for some time, but they crossed the line and after the last way he acted this will be happening for sure. they may have thought we were bad before, but he defiantly is gone learn the hard way now.

So what exactly do they have on your property, just fences or buildings?

mostly just an old camper they had been using as an out building, an a bunch of bird enclosures. (they have a bunch of chickens/roosters) .


but in the end i will be diminishing the amount of land they are using by about half. and being that i know it irks him that we have so much land that we dont use, it should make him good and happy.




*edit to add yes there is the fence also, that is what i currently am aware of.

small update on the neighbor thing. after a 6 ft long 1-2ft wide patch of grass being mowed, a pair of felon, full rage brothers, and 3 squad cars later they now are aware that there will be survey coming! although we know we have not disclosed and will not till the stakes are in the ground! it was an exiting weekend. have video, and will be doing a foya request for the police call and body cam footage. these dudes are completely unhinged for sure. and the crap he was yelling/telling to the cop was just unreal. i may see if where i can get the vids uploaded to that i can link to share.


on a plus side we have an address number for the "new" lot on the other side where her mom is going (the largest part of the land we cleared with the excavator. and are doing the paperwork currently for the property division. her house is having some painting done currently just before it goes on market. and we should be having a 40' shipping container soon as storage till her new place is up and going. then i will probably use it for storage to get some things out of my pole barn for more available room in there!.

so the cable for the inner handle broke on the astra. not awsome to get off, have to remove the latch and wiggle, broke several clips on connectors and the door panel getting things apart. but was at least able to get another for about 30 from gm parts direct.

and a still image that got taken. the one walking is the actual neighbor, the one in the back ground scowling is the brother that pulled in and jumped out.

the sgt standing there deserves kudos (and did, we had to stop near the police station for property paperwork stuff, and stopped to drop off a flash drive for one of the officers) this sgt kept a calm cool demeanor throughout the ordeal even AS he was telling him that he gave no f's and was willing to loose it all, and would go full tilt, didnt care about a gun, or jail or anything at all. could see on the cops face "really dude" but stayed calm and professional throughout.










also clipped a deer carcus that had been fresh hit yesterday morning. came out to a flat tire after work. got air in it and made it home but it was over half flat again by the time a made it there. so i reparked the truck and when i got out that time i could hear a hiss. so will be looking into that in the morning. see if it will be a plug or need to swap tires (have 5 more just like it) .

Man I’m glad I don’t have neighbors like that. Good luck, you’re gonna be dealing with them for a long time it sounds like. Keep good records of your encounters, I’m sure you’ll need it.

Is part of why I am doing foia for all the information and body cam on the incident in addition to the video we had taken. Just to be further evidence if needed later on.

And why an officer will be present when the survey stakes and or survey map is made aware to them. Cause I know despite that he said he would be good about it, loosing half the land he is using he gone be pissed.

I also have the camera system at the house and need to get that stuff up and going.

so a next step has been taken and it is a BIG one! is my buddies f350 that brought it home for me, so this also means that the burb is gonna be going. and then is gonna come something that i am to do to make a vehicle to tow this 40' 13k beast!
