My latest Adventure, update 7/11/21

forgot to add she had them both to the vet today for checkups, and axel came in a little over 11lbs. is very lean and very healthy and in fantastic condition.

then ironically on the way to dinner after, ended up hitting a big ol fat chicken that knocked out the lower grill ( it was knocked inside and i was able to get it so i can get it put back on later as there was no major damage done, just popped out.)

actually the wife was all "we need to get it out of the road" but it was on the top of a hill so i pulled up and opened the door, she was not amused when i grabbed it and tossed it over the front of the car off the road! lol

so i guess it has been a bit since an update, so here goes!


we had been talking about getting into some magnet fishing and i finally got some gear.




















and our first couple days out was a good time and decent sucess!

i also found the matching center in reasonable enough condition at a price i was willing to pay, so after work i jumped on the highway and went for a drive to pick it up.








the car was not happy i let it get this low. also found it amusing that this is one of the worst tanks i got, being on the highway i got 26mpg, when by back country driving i have been getting 27 1/2 - 29.6 so far.










makes it seems like i have an issue here! lol the i will let you guess which is the newest addition! lol

so we went fishing again and got what i suspect will be one of the best days i bet we will get. we didnt get much really, but we did get some good stuff.

and the best part of the day really!!



















turns out to be a brute magnetics 1,500lb single sided magnent. mine is a kratos 950 clamp.

a few more things she pulled up one day, and some that we pulled up later.











got the clear housings installed, and got one of the drl's i installed replaced ( i had put them on , and one went out).






almost feel as i have a problem here also, we keep getting some when we go and have it on the shelf. i think we are up to 13k or so.





also we have some other things coming up also and there is a very good chance i will get an opportunity to try running this guy!.

the excavator will be used to take down several small trees and the couple dilapidated buildings on the property in order to prep it as we intend to section a part off and put a house of some type on for mother in law.

the equipment belongs to a buddy that wants to know how i do with it and is basically going to "rent" it, it will still cost me a bit to rent it, probably 1-2k but is far cheaper than the 8-10k that he figures he would quote it out for.

Was that an old barn or house in that last pic?

Is a small building, I would say 20x15. I think the previous owners used it for keeping some animals or feed or such. The front is only about 6' tall more of a shed than real "building".


The other with the fence around is/was a dog kennel with 5 completely separate runs with inside and outside access, actually was pretty not bad originally.
