thats because they have power hungry amps so the batts
need to keep up with the demand and the multi alts charging the same batts will keep the voltage at the max.
I don't have a need to run my alts that way, no power hungry amps in my system but i can have 2 separate charging systems under the hood with no voltage problems. Runnning amps at 1 to 2 ohms require max voltage constantly than amps loaded at 4 ohms like
my system. I hope this cleared it up for you
