Couple more questions for you guys before I take action..

1. I want to replace my rear shocks with some bilstein 5100's can somebody give me the correct part number for them?

2. Can someone tell me how or send me in the right direction on how to bypass the airride so I don't get error message

3. I am leaving my front stock shocks in since they arent bad is that okay?

Check the bilstein site for specs
http://cart.bilsteinus.com/search/mmid=68308/drivetype=4WD

I found this:
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69069
Bilstein (24-186643) 5100 Series Shock Absorber (for fronts)
0-2.5" lift
&

Bilstein 24-187237 Rear Shock for GM Tahoe/Avalanche (rears)

For 0-1" lift

24-185783 I believe is the rear Bilstein number. Double check that though.

For 1-3" lift it appears

Be sure to road test after you put them on. Hopefully down that same road you said caused the uneasy feeling and then report back here how it now feels.

got the shocks on, took me about 2 hours which i guess isn't bad for my first time lol unfortunately I didn't get to drive it down that same road that really made my truck feel uneasy..But from my 20 minute drive to work I could feel a difference in the truck..when the rear end got to bumps and dips in the road it felt more dampened (as it should with the new shocks) however the front still feels sloppy and shaky its a weird feeling it almost feels like the wheels are on tight enough like they quiver back and forth when going over a rough spot in the road its hard to explain

Ok, so now the front steering and suspension needs further inspection by someone that will tell you what is good and what is bad instead of "loose." Sounds like we have the rear taken care of.

I would want to pay close attention to the frame area of the steering gear mount for cracks and loose gear mounting bolts and get a real inspection of the front steering/suspension components.

Did you get those Moog parts?

I'll take it to a shop by my work that I've used before and had good luck with tomorrow, I want them to run through things and tell me how the front looks, and if anything needs replacement which I bet it will then I'll buy the moog parts asap tomorrow
