My turn for DIC to go out....

Took the truck to the dealer today. Along with the now non working DIC, they are also replacing the rear glass as the rear defrost has stopped working and they have already tried two repair kits. Also, the rear ride level compressor stopped working so they are also looking at that.

That truck has been cursed since I got it.

I am SURPRISED your guys don't know.

Louis is A ROBOT. How else do you explain the same answer to EVERY problem.

But I say ban them too. Matter of fact I "thunk" it Many times.

The TYF forum family gathers here because we DON'T want to go to the dealership. If we did we would not come here first to ask for advice.

I bought an aftermarket warranty when I bought the truck. Today the adjuster is supposed to come look at it and hopefully, approve the repairs.

Oh yeah, my passenger side mirror sometimes won't open after I hit the button to close the mirrors and now my power running boards are acting up as well.

Anyone one to buy a fine '07 Yukon XL??? LOL

Bought an Aftermarket warranty for the Burb as well and had the folding mirror issue also.

BOTH mirrors were covered and replaced under warranty.

I do not have the power running boards on my Burb.

Well crap.... Dealer called today and said they would replace the DIC and the rear glass, but will not pay to fix the rear ride level compressor. He said guy said the sensor is corroded. I told him it was the compressor, it started knocking then quit working. Then he tried to tell me it looked like it had been hit. To which I replied the compressor is located behind a panel so you can even see it. He agreed, then how could it look like it had been hit??

Will have to work on that one I guess. Call the warranty company myself.

Well, got my Yukon back today. The warranty company paid for new cluster and new rear glass but denied me on the rear ride level compressor. The adjuster said it failed due to massive salt corrosion. They don't fix that.

So I need a new rear ride compressor.... Yeah....
