Navigation DVD Question

Does anyone know if a navi DVD from 2013 LTZ will work on 2010 LT with navigation unit? Also, what is the difference between 2013 and 2010 navi if any?

If I recall, the later disc will be your update need to bring you current.

I am not certain as I have a late 2011, and don't use the navigation enough to pay $200 to upgrade.

2013 units do not have a DVD disc, the map is integrated in the hard drive. Gm stopped with DVDs in 2012.
