NBS front axle in OBS

Yeah I cant find any info on it at all. I'm just thinking rather than convert to rear disks on our style rears, just get a NBS rear differential with the disks and get the matching front differential with a better gear ratio than our 3.42.
I know the spring pads and shock mounts have to be relocated on the rear diff...no big deal if you can weld. Seems like the way to go in the long run.

the rear is a completely different mounting setup tho. coil springs and trailing bar and such.

Yeah lots of cutting and grinding off. Not a project im looking to undertake anytime soon but its on my back burner. The 14 bolt 6 lugs are harder and harder to find as well as getting older with more miles on them. By the time you pay for a rebuild with a possible gear change to both axles, it may be worth the sweat in the end.

Unless you are sure your axle is going to break just convert to rear discs for about $1100-1500 depending on brand and options.
