unless you find one or get a commercial vehicle you might just have to swap in a front bench from a silverado/sierra
generally it has always been offered as a option on the lower trims ls/sle

It was an option on SLE trim and Suburban LS trim. It might be difficult to find.

FWIW, a while back, I looked for all the LS and SLE trim Yukon XL/Suburban's in the country w/ a bench in the front...there were a total of 5...May be more now, check the View Inventory on GMC.com

The inventory search system seems broken when you select 9 passenger or 40/20/40 split bench, it still returns w/ front buckets...I had to call GM and get them to look.

They are hard to find - it took me over a year to get mine.

If you're handy, you can convert any of them to the 9-seat config. The center console comes out and you buy the center jump seat from the dealer, EBay, etc. Nice thing about going this route is you don't have to limit yourself to the lowest trim level. You can get an SLT (or above) and then put in the 9th seat.

@yukon-xl did this conversion to an SLT and can share more details.
