I have some rims that are 17x9 6-135 18mm. If I put a 1.5 in wheel adaptor on my 2007 tahoe with the 6x139 bolt patern will these rims work? Thanks in advance.

The factory wheels have a 31mm offset. Your wheels have an 18mm offset, so they will stick out 13mm if they could bolt up directly to the hub. Since they have different bolt patterns, adapters are necessary which will increase the width further. 1.5" adapters are 38mm wide, so your wheels will stick out 51mm (about 2") further per side. If your Tahoe is lifted, I'm sure they'd be fine if you run a reasonably-sized tire. If stock height, chances are you'd have rubbing issues when turning. If lowered, the fenders will come down on top of the tires.

It is stock height with 265/70/17 tires

Adaptors suck. If u do chose to use them at your own risk at least get hub centric adaptors. But I feel it were me I'd just buy the correct wheels to fit the truck.

I've never had an issue with adapters, but I've never used anything over 1.25" and would recommend you not use anything wider than just what you need. I agree- get hub-centric adapters.
