I seriously considered that set because they're a more modern look than the spyder set. However, the overall theme for the Denali is stock with some upgrades, so I thought the red would be a better choice. For your Denali, I agree the set you bought is better.

Go with the Spiders they cost a bit more but you are going to be happy with them. The first set I bought was the Ebay brand (mickey mouse brand)and they lasted 6 months. One of the light sockets didn't match the OEM socket, LED's started burning out after 4 months, I also had to buy the transistor to get my cruise control to work again. I was very dis appointed with the EBay brand (they are junk)

Not sure about your cluster but to get your cruise to start working again you need to install the resistors. Install them on the positive wire of the brake lights.
No, sorry, but I think if you google it you should find plenty of discussions. I bought the Spyders bc a resistor wasn't needed based on things I've read in the past, but I didn't take note of where to obtain the resistors, unfortunately.
The built in resistors are usually for the turn signals for fast flashing. If your cruise isn't working it's because the brake lights need one. Any auto parts store should have them.
They're called "load resistors" and you hook one end to the wire that supplies +12v to the brake light and the other end goes to ground. They should come with t-taps to hook the end to the wire. Mount them away from the wires because they get hot. Mine had instructions on the package.
