Need better sound quality....

Im looking into upgrading the stereo in my tahoe. The current factory system sounds very flat with little range. I don't think I want to do a sub and amp because I am not looking for a loud system, just a quality one. So I was thinking of replacing the speakers first. I listen to a lot of classic rock and hip hop, what speakers might you guys recommend for a clean, crisp, quality sound? I personally am a fan of kicker, but the price does play a factor, also, how many speakers will I need to replace all of the factory ones?

If your door speakers are 6 3/4. 6.5 will also fit I would look in these

A friend of mine has them in his H1. They have a really good all around sound quality.

I found them for an even better price. The reviews seem good and Alpine seems to be a solid company. Does anyone else have an opinion on these? Would you suggest putting these in all 4 doors?

They're not too bad, but I wouldn't put them in all four doors. I'd put coaxials in the rear and do the components up front.

Alright, do you have any other suggestions in terms of speakers? I found those ones for $120 which seems to be a pretty good price.

if you like the Kicker, look at the KS65.2 component set and coax KS650 for rear doors.

Those do look nice and a little cheaper. I think I might go with these.

Before I order the speakers,

How hard of an installation would this be for someone with virtually no audio installation experience? I have installed a stereo once, that is about it. Would I even be able to do it? How much would a shop charge typically? Do I need anything other than the speakers? What about wiring?
