Replacing the passenger side outside mirror, the power cable dropped into the door frame even though I had it tied off...obviously not well enough. :emotions122:

Time to take off the door panel. How exactly does the plastic bezel come off behind the inside handle?

Does the whole thing come off as one piece or is the center part separate from the outer plastic 'frame' ? Screw driver behind there to pop regular door clips or ?

If by chance someone has pics of that bezel off the door panel, I'd appreciate a look before I dive back into this tomorrow when I have daylight.

I got some old pics that might help. Just use a rather small screw driver and use it to ********* at the four point that are in the pictures below. I hope this can help out a lil bit. After you undo those, just unbolt the 2 bolts in the arm rest and take off that triangular piece in the top left (for passenger side). Then take off the switch panel and unpulg the wires to them and the tweeter if you have that. The rest is prying the actual door panel off which is held together with push pin things.

Ok, I think I've got it now. The center bezel is part of the handle bolted to the door frame, the outer trim ring is what comes off. Very helpful seeing where the 4 attachment points are. Thanks!
