Hello Forum,
I took my 07 Tahoe Regency in today for brakes, rotors, etc.
The guy calls me back and tells me they cannot get my (Regency) red caliper covers off the truck!
Then he tells me they cannot match up my cross cut rotors because that is NOT what is showing on their Chevy parts list.
I did not know that Regency went out of business! I was hoping to call them and find out what parts to replace them with.
Has ANY ONE else had this problem!
They want to CUT my caliper covers off! I need help ASAP. I had to leave it at the shop until they can figure it out.

First off get your vehicle and leave. If they are wanting to "cut" anything off they are NOT a good shop. If it's a stealership then report them to GM after you have possession. Honestly not familiar with Regency but brakes are brakes are brakes. I don't have enough to go on completely but are you thinking the rotors need replacing? How many miles? Most after market systems utilize a standardized pad size....just the high end is all. After getting the vehicle let us know what you found out.

Hello,

Sorry to hear that you are having this much difficulty having your brakes replaced. Are you having this done at the dealership? If so, I will be more than happy to look further into this situation for you. Please let me know if I can assist.
