Not a good sign. Get it to a transmission shop.

That sucks! Hopefully it'll be ok. I guess that's why it's sometimes good to have a shop do something, because if you do have problems, they are responsible for the install and will re-do it.

thanks guys so i went to a previous shop where my dad took his honda to get a rebuild trans so we know the guy pretty well i told him about what happened and if the case had cracked it would be pretty expensive..but i checked it and it looks good no cracks from what i could see..the metal o ring did pop out so im guessing that was the problem and it did not seal right he also said one of the seals might have not sealed right..if thats the case and the case did not crack hel fix it for 60 with new transmission oil..il take it tomarrow morning at 8 and hopefully everything goes well

the tahoe is in the shop and getting checked out..hopping for the best right now

GREAT NEWS! soo in an hour i got a call that my tahoe was ready i went to the shop and they installed a new cover o ring and filled up the transmission with new oil..the oil alone would have been around the cost of what they charged me.

i did notice a firmer shift if the 1-2 and 2-3. defenetly not an issue with the product..it was just an installation error..the corvette servo did exactly what it described defenetly a good upgrade :) defenetly dodged a bullet there ive read other threads where bacause of a bad installation they needed a new tranny. im jst thankfull it did not turn into a nightmare.
