Hello, i just changed the fuel pump in my truck front tank due to me having a low level sensor light . I changed it and the truck still reads no fuel.. Is it the auxilary tank pump that reads the fuel in the truck? Meaning the tank by the spare tire

I have no experience with two-tank systems, but since you have one gauge and it reads "empty" regardless of what tank is selected, I'd say that the problem is further up the line, maybe even the wire or pin at the gauge cluster that signals the fuel gauge. Either way, my guess is that it's gotta be somewhere there's a common connection, such as a ground for that particular circuit.

Ok.. Hopefully i don't have to change both pumps to find out. I changed the front pump am going to check the harness in the bottom since i made the hatch through the top.

I didn't know our rigs even had the option of a second tank.
