Need help fast..

IF you truck has two tanks, it would have a switch on the dash to manually switch from tank 1 to tank 2, and the gauge would also switch which tank it is reading when the switch is switched. It would also have two filler necks.
I am not doubting you, but I dont think it was an option that year, or any year after the obs body style.
Either its a bad ground on the sending unit, wiring shorted between the sending unit and the gauge, or the gauge. I really don't think the sending unit itself is the problem because it didnt change with the new parts installed.

I had to cut the plug connector since they changed the style of plug on the pumps. I will post pictures of the tanks later on. I have been reading and this pumps just feeds the other from the aux to the main.

I started thinking about it, is yours a quad-steer ? What is the total fuel capacity and range of this monster? Pretty much how i figured.. the small (shallow) tank spills into the main for filling purposes.

Is not quad steer.. I can't read my miles but on the drive from cali to nj i spenT about $600 dollars in fuel i've never empty empty to say how much it total most i've put is 27 gallons and thats like with almost 1/4 tank
