Hi,
the problem with my truck is that it has the acoustic and exterior lights feedback when locking/unlocking the truck disabled. I cannot activate it in my driver information center. The reason it is disabled: it is a 2003 Tahoe for the European market, therefore (because of our laws) it has these options disabled.
I've been told my someone that it should be possible to activate it with a Tech2.
I can't find anyone with a Tech2 in my area and the only other option is the dealership, but they charge a lot of money only for checking if it is possible to activate and bring this locking feedback option back, if it's not possible then I'd be wasting a lot of money.
Maybe there is someone on this forum who owns a 2000-2006 Tahoe or Suburban who could check if you can activate or deactivate the locking feedback on a Tech2.
It'd be great if you could try to deactivate it on your truck using the Tech2, then check your driver information center and tell me what it tells you about the remaining locking feedback and then go back and activate it.
I really want to have this option because right now my truck is flashing the interior lights when locking/unlocking, that's not really useful...I'd love to have the exterior lights flashing and the horn chriping when I lock my truck.
