I got my tahoe out of the shop friday from having the engine completely rebuilt, in the state of NC in order to tag the tahoe it first has to pass emissions first, so if the SES light is on it will not pass. I put 100 miles on it yesterday, parked it over night, went out this morning and less than a mile the SES light came on, so I pulled the codes and the not readys, reset the computer, drove 25 miles, parked it for a few hours, this time I didn't get out of the driveway before the SES came on, still showing the codes. Can't figure out why??

Figured this would be easier.

Codes:
P0135 x2

p0141 x1

Appears you may need to replace your 02 sensors

Im going to go out on a limb here and say that 3 bad o2 sensors all at once is pretty darn rare!

I would have checked the wiring first...

If the original owner ignored them i would say yes, this would also be my problem with the strange idle at cold start, it idles so low it died in gear pulling out of the driveway this morning. Once its warm it runs great.

Well that would make sense... The o2 sensors will not read correctly until they reach a certain temp

Still though.. This just screams a ground issue.. I dunno..

Lets see if the replacements fix the issue!

Engine rebuild? Check to make sure they got plugged in, first.

Never know. Stranger things have happened.
