I'm lookin at this route as well just been trying to figure out autoride been diggin for weeks haven't really found a solid answer. All the threads I find people say you'll have to lengthen the Rods, relocate the rods in different position, or nothing at all just leave it alone.... But I havent seen a response as to yay or nay. So idk I've kind of been waiting on someone to take the step to tinker with it.
One of my ride height rods came loose??????? My YD started leaning on that side talk about sketchy lol... Rode like crap and vibrated on the highway lol not to mention my 33's rubbing lol. It still doesn't ride good after that. I've tried tinker with to fix it. I've gained a inch out of it. It rides better but still not great.... I'm thinking about taking it to the stealership and having them replace the bracket and rod then put it to factory specs that way I know that my new air shocks aren't over or under extended....
I'm probably going to stuff 34s (275/60/20) in there and go AT instead of MT for better thread life and comfort this is my DD

Ahhhh ok, ill be running 33x12.5x20. I just need to search for the best deal on my fuel wheels

Go to Mrwheeldeal.com. I just bought a complete set of wheels and tires, mounted/balanced being shipped to my work tomorrow. Best prices I could find. They can get pretty much anything and are very competative in price. I got XD Spy 18x9 with Nitto Terra Grapplers.

i too are in the same autoride boat. Im lookng to get the 3" keys 2" spacers w/ shock extensions from ebay, but am not 100% sure that

1. I can still use my factory air shocks
2. Do the extensions go on the front or back
3. Will the air shock life be shorten.

I think that when i get a little extra mula i will just pull the trigger on it and do a little trail and error.....hopefully with little to no error.

Will keep yall posted.

I have the nivomat set up and altough it is NOT autoride, my shocks and springs are simlar to your stock setup. The coil springs for the nivomat and autoride are different than the regular suspension. This makes it impossible to run a longer shock with the stock coil springs. Long story short, the nivomat and autoride coil springs are softer and use a heavyduty (much stronger) shock. When you switch to a standard shock, the rear is saggy and bouncy. The regular suspension uses a stronger coil spring and a standard shock (less stronger shock compared to the nivomat and autoride). I have bought z71 springs and will be using 1.5" spacers and 5100 shocks.

Since you want to keep autoride, you can not go the same route I am. While researching options for my truck, I NEVER found a shock extender for the rear...for a lifted application. I found tons for the lowered. After more research I found there is a kit out there to retain the autoride and lift the rear to match a 3" lift. It is the skyjacker lift kit. It comes with shock extenders, longer control arms, and everything needed to keep your autoride. Downfall, its going to be about $400-500 alone for just the rear.

What I am trying to say is, if you want to retain autoride your options are to lengthen the sensors and try to find shock extenders or buy a lift kit that will work with it. THe other option is lose the autoride kit, buy some z71 coils, spacers, and shocks, and save a lot of $$.

****This is just my input, not saying there are not other options out there, this is just what I have gathered over the past couple weeks of researching.****

1. With the kit you talk about, you would need to run extensions to retain the air shocks.

2. The extensions with the "key/spacer" kits ebay are for the front. I have not been able to find any shock extenders for the rear with a lifted application. Most everyone just buys a longer shock.

Screwed up 6 , THANK YOU for your response!!! That helped out tons. It is hard to find info for a "small" lift with auto ride. I wounder how hard it would be to make/fab up some shock extensions for the rear??

Actually If u have access to a welder I think it would be fairly easy. Buy the shock extenders for the lowered application....cut off the extension part...flip it over so it directs the shock up and not downward....reweled and make sure it is reinforced enough. I just dont have a welder and I wanted to get rid of my nivomats to run bilstein 5100s

keep in mind this extension would only be beneficial to keep the shock from being fully decompressed. This will not fix your sensor/linkage for air ride

go to skyjackers website...look up the lift for tahoe. Download pdf instructions and look at their shock extenders and install parts. The kit for air ride is C934PAR

On this topic of shock extensions part number C93AR is the skyjacker 3" shock relocation brackets "extenders" I believe it's for front and rear $213.xx at summit currently. As for the sensors for ride height. The bracket is adjustable I'm going use the ride height rods from the front(LONGER) of my Denali and adjust brackets accordingly. The problem with a 3" is your probably going to need sway bar extensions also.
