Maybe you guys can help. I cleaned my father in law throttle body went to start truck and it turns over runs for a sec an cuts off even when throttle is pushed. 2000 k1500 5.3 v8.

There's no wires to touch I just removed the plastic intake hose. I Manuel opened the intake butterfly and sprayed cleaner in there without truck ruining first time I ever done that an now I'm paying for it. Usually I start vehicle first and then clean TB

wait a hour or so and let it dry then try again , i dont see how throttle body cleaner would make a vehicle not start . unless you soaked it to the point where your fuel to air mixture is way out of whack

The throttle body/position sensor is out of synch now. disconnect the battery, wait a minute or so and once reconnected the sensor will recalibrate itself. This happed to me on the wife's denali.
