Recently purchased a 00 Denali (1st gen, ova) for a beat around vehicle. Truck was an electrical mess when I got it. In process of cleaning it up, and getting everything dialed in.

when I got it headlights worked, hi and low, but had no running lights in rear.

Windows, radio, door locks didn't work. Have since been fixed with replacing a few fuses and resoldering a connection in BCM.

Now I have no low or high beam headlights. Parking lights work on switch, running lights in rear work. Fog lights work. No DRL on but light on cluster states DRL are on.

I essentially need to find a diagram for the headlight switch (rotary dial on dash) to confirm or deny that's bad, however most of the diagrams I find don't appear to be same color wires as what I have. I have 12v coming into the harness on the large gauge red wire. Dash gauge light dimmer works, dome over ride works, and parking lights work when I turn to running light/headlights on, just have no low or high beams.

I've checked the large 50 amp fuse under hood, it's good, even swapped with abs 50 amp fuse n no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to rule out rotary switch, turn signal/hi low switch, or DRL module?

I'm typically pretty savvy with figuring these sort of things out but not having any luck with this.

Any help, suggestions, etc is greatly appreciated. Thanks, and look forward to being an active member on here!

I recently had my right side headlamps and turn signals acting very strangely. Thanks to another thread here on the forum, a bad ground was suggested. The ground for the right side is behind the battery, on the inner fender, the one for the driver's side is attached to the radiator support. Hope this helps.
