Hello

I am getting ready to install my DJM 3/5 dop kit on my 2000 Yukon XL 4wd but my problem is the only shop i have access to ( company i work for ) is about 45km away from home where all my tools are and dont really want to climb under it in my driveway as there is a whole bunch of snow and what not all over my driveway. So i was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly what size sockets/wrenches/etc. that i am going to need to get this done.
The kit is the front LCA and rear springs along with all new shocks.
I am trying to get this installed in the next night or 2 as i go back to work for aother 15 days on wednesday and my 2nd child is due just after i get back from work in Feb. and would like to have it done before he arrives.

Thanks in advance for any helpful information or tips that you can give me. :grd:

on the 5 inch rear kit you will need the trailing arm relocators and the new swaybar endlinks did you get that?

YOu will also need to cut of the bumpstop bracket off the frame and add the new bumpstops did you get those?

Have to make sure you got all the correct parts before you even start. oh did you get new front/rear shocks also?

yes i got the new swaybar endlinks, trailing arm relocators, new shocks front and rear and new bumpstops...
as for the factory bump stop bracket i have not cut it off yet as its in the negative 30's out temperature wise right now and i just got back from working 8 hrs away from home. so i was going to cut them off when i go to do install.

21mm sockets/wrenches and 18mm and a few others. Basic hand tools will cover it.

Hardest part was getting those ball joints off for me! It's pretty straight forward though on the install

indeed, simple install. Balljoints are bastards. A $10 balljoint separator and a small sledge hammer will save you a lot of headache.
