Need help with exhaust leak

This is on a 2000 Chevy Sub 2500 but should be universal. Figured I would get more help here.

Just got my Subby a couple weeks ago and noticed that is seemed to have an exhaust leak. Thought I would get under there and found the flange on the cat side is broken.



Any ideas how I can fix this? Can it be welded up? TIA

I think the best way to fix it would be to get a new flange and weld that on but if you just unbolt the whole thing you should be able to weld it up so it doesnt leak anymore
looks like there is a pipe clamp on the opposite side from which the photo was taken...maybe fix that while you are at it too?

I don't see a pipe clamp, where are you seeing that? Probably the heat shield on the headers there.
