I got a 2000 GMC Yukon SLT 5.3 L 4x4.
My problem is that it wont turn over. I ahve replaced the alternator, battery, and starter. When I replaced the starter it was goin perfect. Then I let it sit for a few hours now wont even turn over. When I turn the key battery is fine and I hear the starter run. It kind seems like to my that the starter is not catching the flywheel. I think there is a worn portion on the flywheel. Any takers on my idea?
Also if anyone else thinks the same. How can I check to see if the flywheel is worn? Is there any type of access point on the bottom I can take off to look at it?
Please let me know and thanks in advance.
