Hello everyone I am new to the forum and SUV world....I have an 03' Turbo Escalade built by Livernois Motorsports. They done a 3-4 Ground Force drop on it with the air ride back in 05. I got the esc in December and the truck has a very bad sway wollow or whatever you want to call it when you hit dips or bridges. I know it is not going to ride stock but it shouldn't handle like this either. I ditched the Air ride set up and went with HD KYB shocks in the front and it cleaned up some. Then I decided to replace the rear and now I have the problem with the bottom out issue also. The shop that installed them are going to try the lowering shocks because they don't think it has enough travel. I was tempted to buy another complete kit and re-do everything with coils and all. Should I atleast raise it back up to a 2-3 drop instead of the 3-4? If anyone knows any tricks please hit me up. This is a vehicle I bought for a daily driver because I just had a kid. My new Z06 is not baby friendly plus I was racking up miles. This is my first SUV of any kind so I am having to start learning from scratch. Just don't know to many go to places here in S.A. moved here from Dallas...I love my new toy but there is know use having 500+ horse power if I can't enjoy it I am fustrated as hell :emotions122:

Also here's a link to the magazine it featured in http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/downloads/EscaladeL&E.pdf

Thanks for the quick info and compliments! The pics under my post is how it sits right now. I will have to climb under later and get pics of the suspension. But I do know it is supposed to be a 3-4 drop kit from Groud Force with coil springs, sway bar spacers, and keys. I added the magazine article link it was featured in that has a full write up on the truck.

Thanks that's a nice Hoe you have also...the motor is basically stock with full exhaust, Gt-37 turbo and intercooled 9 lbs of boost with a good tune. I am planning on bumping internals up and cam along with tranny work after I fix these suspension issues later this year first I have to finish the Z06. If I tear this one open already the wife would probably have a heart attack!

Nice truck I'm sure we can help you get it where you want and a bit further if we can convince you enough. First and foremost get some pics of the rear suspension for us or just look under the truck to see if there are any brackets attached to the shocks. I would recommend buying some bilstein BE5-6500-H0 rear shocks as well as some belltech 6651 shock extensions if your truck doesn't currently have them installed. Free-travel mod isn't necessary but it will ride a bit more comfortable I would also suggest some airlift 60769 inner spring helper bags if you plan to tow or haul anything. I believe ground force only lists that kit as a 3" but the stereo may be weighing it down, bags will help there as well. I'd also suggest a T-67 or T-76 as well as an FLT level 7 4L65E transmission and some 60LB injectors so it'll run 11s

Yes sir! You are definately speaking my language on the turbo and injector upgrades. I wanted to get the ride issues starightened out first and finish some motor mods on the Z and then it will be more Escalade time after that. I will look into the parts you suggested and get some pics of the suspension tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

Welcome!

Badass for sure!!

Gotta love Turbos!! Boost rules!!!

This is your daily driver right?

I say stick with your current turbo, it will be better suited to daily driving, the 67 will have more lag. but its all up to you how you want to drive it.

I reccomend a good precision industries torque converter, at least a 3000 stall tripple disc.

And a good comp cam boost friendly grind, and a retune.

You'll be surprised and the extra power and driveabilty these mods will wring out of your already potent combo. Also still making it daily driver freindly but hell on wheels when you mash it.

Good luck. I have no experience with lowered vehicles so good luck with that though!
