Hey guys i have a question its not on a tahoe or yukon but since it's almost the same set up i thought i go ahead an ask. Ok my bro ows a 97 chevy silverado 2500 4x4 with the 4x4 floor shifter and manual trans yesterday while driving home he stopped at a red light and all of the sudden his 4x4 engaged now it does not want to get out of 4 low even when set at 2 hi. We checked the transfer case fluid and it is fine any ideas to were we can start looking. Tried to google it but no luck.
Thanks In Advanced.

This one does have an actuator. We disconnected the front drive shaft but the transfer case does not spin while driving the truck could it be a problem with the transfer case?
