The new replacement OEM GMT 800 radiators don’t have petcocks either, they eliminated them also. I replaced the one in my 02 Yukon Denali a couple years ago and it came without one. My old one had it.

My stock 07 Denali does NOT have a petcock.
I pull my lower radiator hose off to drain it.
Your results may vary?
Youd think seven years later they would implement something like that.... than again half a million in savings haha across all gmt 900 made
