no crank needed. used that tire size on 3 different OBS.

If you run a 285 on the rims in your sig pic you're going to rub without a crank. Basically anything other than a stock backspace you're going to rub with 285's. TXGMC's setup looks badass but be prepared to do some clearancing for the 295's like he did cutting the valance and maybe the bottom portion of the front bumper.

The setup you posted should work fine and look sweet, but you'll probably have to crank around 2" in the front to keep from rubbing.

I wouldn't go any higher than the 285's unless you're prepared to pull out the sawzall.

I have the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 on my truck and they are very impressive. They dig pretty hard through the snow, I was able to keep it in
2wd and keep the truck at highway speed through 4" of snow this past winter. IMO the best bang for the buck.

When I put my BFG All Terrains on, I didn't crank the bars and they did not rub. Granted that was on the stock rim. If you go after market chances are you will have to crank. When I put my Mickeys on I had to but no where near 2". Just keep in mind, the farther you crank the bars, the more stress it puts on your suspension parts.

I ordered some mickey thompson mtz's that im supposed to get today or monday. I'll let you know how they handle :Handshake:

On a side note, isn't a 295 tire equivalent to a 33" tire??
